Non-Specific Blues

Feelin' kind of worried--'bout what I do not know,
My life looks good on paper, but I'm ridin' really low.
I freeze in my heart and look to the day when it will go.

It's that kind of thing where nothing's feeling right,
Got a tension in my chest, like some wind-blown blight,
If I won a million$, all I'd feel is fright.

Don't wanna face the day, the people; don't wanna be alone,
Wanna call a friend, a cohort, don't wanna touch the phone,
"Doctor you got a pill, that'll pull this feeling from my bones?"

Got the non-specific blues, they got me feelin' down,
Goin' on seems senseless, but it's the only game in town,
Wish a magic sun would rise tomorrow, and this feeling would
be gone.
